Sustainable Agricultural Communities Australia

Welcome to the S.A.C.A. Website

Sustainable Agricultural Communities Australia (S.A.C.A.) was formed in response to community pressure around Australia for an independent, coordinated rural voice. Food and fibre production needs to be recognized as one of the great wealth creators for Australia heading into the 21st century.

S.A.C.A. Aims

1) To represent individuals and businesses in agricultural communities within Australia;

2) Identify and advocate issues affecting the optimal allocation of the natural resources associated with agricultural communities across Australia;

3) To collaborate with institutions and individuals to encourage national debate on matters of concern to S.A.C.A. and its members;

4) Represent long term, fair and optimal solutions for the prosperity of Australian agricultural communities.

Mission Statement

To arrest the decline of family and regionally based businesses in rural Australia.

Also to ensure a fairer distribution of the national income flowing back to rural and regional communities.
